there's an old voice in my head.
"I realise now that I wanted to disappear. To get so lost that nobody ever found me. To go so far away that I'd never be able to make my way home again. But I have no idea why."
- Jessica Warman.

The slippery slope stood still.
The slipper soap stood still
at the top of the slippery slope.
It goes all downhill from here.
The slippery soap on the slippery slope
sliding down, down, down, down,
becoming smaller with each centimeter down,
leaving a trail of slippery soap bubbles.
The slippery slope with the slippery soap
steeping downwards, urging the slippery soap to slip;
slipping downwards, further and further from the top,
the slippery soap is slipping too far away to be saved.
The slippery soap on the slippery slope
sliding downwards towards the bottom;
the bottom of the slope awaiting its arrival,
anticipating the demise of the slippery soap.
The slippery slope with the slippery soap
let it slide down, down, down, down,
nearing the bottom of the slippery slope,
slipping until it's too late to be salvaged.
Time passes too quickly for one to grasp hold of it;
The preciousness of time not appreciated.
The soap disappears too quickly for one to grasp hold of it;
The efficiency and usefulness of it all worn out.
The slippery soap slipped down the slippery slope;
what's left of it is a puddle of slippery soap bubbles.
The trail as a reminiscence of the slippery soap
and it's journey downwards on the slippery slope,
Maybe it was not meant to be remembered.
Maybe it was not meant to be found.

You're gone, gone, gone away.
I watched you disappear.
All that's left is a ghost of you.
You're gone, gone, gone away.
I watched you disappear.
All that's left is a ghost of you.
Now we're torn, torn, torn apart.
There's nothing we can do.
Just let me go, we'll meet again soon.
There's nothing we can do.
Just let me go, we'll meet again soon.

M.
that's holding me back.
