the doors look the same.
I've been, for sometime,
looking for someone.
I need to know now.
Please tell me who I am.
----------------
We're always seeking comfort. We're always looking for things that make us happy.
We're always trying to find things that are enjoyable,
we tend to block out negativity.
What if it's the negativity we need to think about?
What if it's the negativity we need to face?
What if it's the negativity we need to face?
What if it's the negativity that keeps us sane?
--------
It could be a loop;
trying to figure out what went wrong,
and what could have been different,
setting plans to make a change.
And then the realisation hits.
What if,
nothing was wrong in the first place.
Everything happened for a reason.
Because everything has a reason.
Every single person has a motive,
every single behaviour has a motive,
all these acted on beliefs.
What beliefs?
What beliefs do we hold?
Do we follow what society says?
Do we hold on to our own beliefs?
Who is to say what thinking is right or wrong,
when it is our own beliefs?
Who is to say that we have to change our mindset?
Who says changing our mindset would be for the better?
Would it?
--------
What if one day,
I lose my sanity,
from trying to figure out
why people are so keen on fitting in,
why people can't just be alone.
What if one day,
I lose my beliefs,
trying to fit in,
trying not to be alone,
would that make me more sane?
