pop goes the weasel.
today was the day she would get over her fears;
the day she could let it all go,
and just offer a smile,
a sincere smile.
--------------------
Little did she know this was going to come,
some things don't just happen.
Putting aside fear and masking the shivering,
she clasped her trembling hands.
Stop. She urged.
If mind control was possible,
her hands would have stopped shaking.
A big wave of panic began to overcome
as she looked down.
There, her legs
shivering like frightened jelly;
uncontrollable.
Just stop it. More forcefully.
Anger seeped through the holes of panic.
Little did she know what had happened.
Under the pressure,
Snap.
It merely too a snap of the fingers;
she snapped.
Lost direction of all her dreams
and everything she wanted.
She was never to be salvaged.
She was never to be fixed.
For she was long gone
before she could realise.
